Also a hold-over from high school, originally titled (and I hesitate to reveal this) "The Sexual Crucifiction" and included a line about pouring chocolate on the thighs. No wonder I put it away for good (I thought).
Probably the most politically incorrect thing I've written, it obviously involves an accidental encounter with an underage female. I must stress that it is NOT autobiographical in any sense. I actually don't know where the idea came from, except maybe an old Hank Jr. song with a similar theme but a much more serious tone. I can't remember the title at the moment.
This was finished 15 years later for the TDow Band project, at which point the underage thing was added (since when I originally wrote it, I too was under 18 so there would have been no need for the police).
It's the only pop song I know of to include the word "Yahtzee".
The first thing that she asked to see were my credit cards and credit history
I was just a fool enough to let her have her way
I was just the fool she picked that day
The next thing that she asked I did not hear, you see I wasn’t quite myself
The things that she was doin’ with her soft and knowing hands
Didn’t give her mouth a chance in twelve
Chorus:
Flashing lights and spinning colors suddenly appeared before my eyes
She was either playin’ with my mind or playin’ Yahtzee on my thighs
Oooh that’s nice, hey hey
The last thing that she asked was whether I felt well enough to go on home
I think I mumbled somethin’ ‘bout not leavin’ her alone
She said, “If I were you I’d get up and get gone”
2nd Chorus:
Flashing lights and spinning sirens suddenly appeared before my eyes
She was either only seventeen or I was about to win a prize
I think the young girl lies, hey hey
I never knew her name, her occupation, street address or date of birth
But I know she’s out there spendin’ all the bail I couldn’t pay
And I was just the fool she picked that day
